A new "uncommon" shopping venue has come to Pawleys Island.

The former location of White Harvest Trading Company, which closed earlier this year, is the new home of Harvest Commons on Commerce, a outlet style shopping venue.

The developer is promoting the property as an alternative to higher overhead expenses tied to normal retail space.

The new space is offering about 70 slots for new businesses. Slots range in size, with average spaces of 8'x12'. Smaller and larger slots are also available.

"My whole life, I have been surrounded by things that belonged in other eras. My family was "eclectic" before it was cool! My parents scoured auctions and traveled many miles searching for just the right items and furnishings that could turn the brick ranch house they bought into our family home.

I believe some of their best married years were spent searching for these treasures that filled our home and I believe their love of "treasure hunting" was passed down to me.

My idea of a perfect day trip is to have cash in pocket, traveling the back roads in a truck and stopping along the way to purchase various treasures. You give me that, and I am a Happy Girl!

The idea for DANDELIONS was born in my heart long before it was born in my head. It is my hope that DANDELIONS will become the MUST SHOP SPOT for those in search of "wishful things".
